What To Watch On Netflix

What To Watch On Netflix.png

Hey friends! I’m back with another favorites post for this week!

I have this thing where I hate to pay for a subscription to anything. And I meanΒ anything. If there is a way around it, I’ll find it.

But there is one subscription that I do pay for. Netflix.

Netflix is precious. I’m on there much more than I should be, binge watching shows that I’ve seen more times than I can count.

Am I sorry for wasting my time doing nothing as I re-watch the same shows and cry at the same sad parts and laugh till I cry at all the same jokes? No. No, I’m not.

I willingly throw money at Netflix every month because I can’t do life without it.

When people ask me what I like to do in my spare time, pretty much the only thing that comes to mind is Netflix and chill. But of course I don’t say that haha πŸ˜‰

So in order from last to first, here is a list of some of my favorite things to watch on Netflix! πŸ™‚

5. North and South

I just can’t write a favorites post without mentioning this one. I already wrote a review post on itΒ here, if you’d like to read about it. But I’ll mention now too. If you like BBC mini series as much as me, you’ll love it. It’s better than Jane Austen. Think Darcy, but ten thousand times more romantic. I still swoon when I watch it, I’m not even kidding! haha

4. The Dick Van Dyke Show

Who doesn’t love a classic?! I certainly do! And it doesn’t get better than Dick Van Dyke. He’s funny, he’s talented, it’s great. It’s definitely a must-watch! And the best part? The whole thing is on Netflix, so there’s no excuse to not watch it πŸ˜‰

3. The Office

I think by now most everyone is familiar with the Office. If you’re not, you should be. It’s a little inappropriate and crude at times, but it’s oh so funny and I still laugh every time I watch it. But it’s not just humor! There’s a bit of everything thrown in; drama, sorrow, memories, and of course comedy. Just life in general. I love this show.

2. Gilmore Girls

Anyone who knows me, knows I find a way to bring this up in normal conversation whenever I can. It’s just a great show. It’s relatable, it’s funny, it’s serious, it’s sad, it’s happy, it’s coffee too! Haha πŸ˜‰ More than likely, I will find a way to quote Gilmore Girls in almost every conversation I have. I’m not sorry.

1. Friends

I don’t know where to begin with this one. I debated on whether Gilmore Girls should have first place or this, but I think I’m gonna have to go with Friends. I quote lines from Friends as much as I do from Gilmore Girls. As a twenty something trying to find my place kinda person, this show gets me. It’s an older show, but it’s still so, so, so incredibly great. Really one might say epic. This show never gets old. I have only three words for you if you haven’t seen it or heard of it:Β go watch it.

I mean it. Right now. Drop everything and turn to Netflix. I promise it’ll be worth it πŸ˜€

There are so many other great things on Netflix, but for the sake of keeping it short, I’ve chosen only these five. It was a hard choice, believe me!

The things I wish were on Netflix? Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings.

Now that everyone knows I have no life, I can end this post and go watch some Netflix. Heehee πŸ˜€

  1. I really get what you mean. I am a huge binge watcher myself. I don’t mind rewatching the shows that I love, it is never a bad idea it always pumps my mood. I came to realise that binge watching TV shows recharge my mental batteries.
