I was aimlessly scrolling through Pinterest tonight looking at pretty pastel wallpapers with quotes on them and I suddenly got inspired to write a blog post.
The particular quote that I saw read something like, “I decided to be happy because it’s good for my health,” and it was just so simple. I just kinda sat there dumbfounded for a minute or two.
There are so many times that we make happiness out to be this big giant thing that we’re all striving for and it seems like this impossible journey to get to be happy. Continue reading
Hey guys! I’ve been gone for so long… I know. I feel horrible about it, really. But I’m back now. You won’t get rid of me that easy 😉 haha
Anyway, a lot has happened while I’ve been away from the blogosphere. But what I really want to address now is kind of a touchy subject. It’s one that I’ve been dealing with a lot recently and I kinda wanted to just jump on here and vent about it and hope that maybe some of y’all can relate.
Have you ever been subjected to criticism and judgment, not by “enemies”, or anyone who’s not Christian, but by believers? By those who should love, accept, support, and encourage you? I certainly have, and it’s made me question certain things. Things that, as Christians, we are supposed to not only believe in but practice. Because really belief without practice is hypocrisy.
